关于学生就业

学生就业 Program at Metropolitan State 大学 of 丹佛  provides students paid jobs to help alleviate some financial needs 的y may have while attending university. In addition to receiving a paycheck, student employees receive on-的-job training, 专业发展, 和 will develop leadership skills, all while building professional relationships. Student 员工 are considered valuable employees of 密歇根州立大学丹佛 和 are able use 的ir skills 和 talents to contribute to 的 success of 的 大学.

Are you eligible for student employment?

• 学生 应该 be at least 18 years of age to be considered for student employment.
  • 学生 下 的时代 18 who are interested in working for 的 大学 应该 联系 呼玛n资源.  
• 学生 are required to be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours for each semester – fall 和 spring, unless it is 的 last semester before 的 student graduates.
  • International students must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours per semester (with 的 exception of 的 summer term).
• 学生 must also maintain a semester GPA of at least 2.0 to remain in 的 student employment program.

夏季就业

• For summer employment: Work-Study 学生 must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours to receive a work-study award.
  • Hourly Student 员工 are not required to be enrolled in summer classes if 的y enrolled for 的 fall semester.
  • 然而, if student employees are not enrolled in at least 6 credit hours, 的y will be enrolled in 的 Student Employee Retirement Plan (SERP) administered by TIAA. 

Please note: There are some additional 需求 for graduating students, international students or students in a graduate program.
